Below are the key instructors that work directly with our children.

Coach Will2

William Mosley, (Coach Will), Physical Education

"My name is Will Mosley. I attended the University of Missouri and Ole Miss on a baseball scholarship. I was a high school All-American in basketball and baseball while excelling in academics with a 4.0 GPA.  I have been coaching for 17 years and am currently the Varsity Baseball Coach at Drake High School and Director of California Daredevils youth baseball organization.  I have a passion for helping student-athletes and I always get a kick out of seeing young people chase their dreams."  - Coach Will

"My name is Coach Tim, and I am very excited to be teaching P.E. at Mary Silveira. I live about a mile from the school with my wife Jen who is a kindergarten teacher and my two daughters, Anna, a second grader at Dixie and Ella who just started her last year of preschool. I also have a daughter, Ava, who is a junior at UC Berkeley. Growing up, I loved P.E., and I was a Physical Education major at Westmont College in Santa Barbara.  I love all types of sports, especially running.  I am currently the Cross Country coach at Novato High school and I run for a local club called Tamalpa Runners. Our goal is to get all the kids moving & exercising while learning new skills and having lots of fun! I believe PE can and will help kids become better happier students." - Tim Wallen

Gisele Clark, Art Technician

"Hello my name is Gisele Clark, a professional educator and art enthusiast. I have my CA Multiple Subject Teaching Credential and an MA in Elementary Education. I've been a general education teacher for over 12 years in San Francisco and have run my own art enrichment program for the past 4 years. I am uber passionate about art and have a need to create and decorate. I'm super excited to be a part of the MES team and can't wait to ignite that creative spark in the students." - Gisele Clark

Kroupa Bio PicKroupa, Kindergarten-2nd Grader Music and movement teacher

"My name is Chris Kroupa and I’m very excited to be the new Music & Movement Specialist at Mary Silveira. I am passionate about music education! Science tells us how important music is to brain and language development. We also know it builds community, enhances motor skills and simply spreads the joy of music/learning. Students will sing and dance in every music class, with an opportunity to move and control their bodies, explore rhythm, rhyme and instruments, participate in dramatic play and learn age-appropriate music theory. My philosophy is that young children learn music best when they’re having fun AND being challenged with new concepts. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism from the University of Missouri. After a short career in advertising, I decided to shift gears and focus on my love of music. I taught piano lessons for years and played keyboard in a variety of musical groups, and soon found that my favorite job was sharing music with young children. I’ve been teaching Music & Movement class at a large private preschool in St Louis for the past 14 years. My husband and I recently moved to the Bay Area with our crazy chocolate Labrador retriever. We have two grown sons that make us proud every day!"  -  Chris Kroupa
